A four bedroom detached house is located in the residential estate of Chalfont St Peter.

The owners of the property wanted to enhance their living space which includes kitchen and family room.

The extra space was created by converting part of the attached garage, with their neighbours and the alleyway, into kitchen. The two big lantern rooflights were proposed to bring in the natural light into the space. A new study room was proposed in the front of the house which also helped to create a wider entrance hall.

The internal layout and circulation was improved by variety of refurbishments and renovation of the property. 

Externally a contemporary style was created with new aluminium doors in the corner of the extension which enables to open the whole area into the garden.

The front of the garage was retained for the storage.
